For those that don't know, I'm currently working in Kuwait. The Z is sitting in my garage and the wife starts it up about once a week. Well guess that isn't enough. Past two time she went to start it the battery has been dead. Someone mention about getting a "Battery Tender." Is there anyone here useing one on their Z? Which one do you recommend? These are new to me and don't know much about them. From what I've read on their site the Battery Tender Plus (12v) is what I need. Please let me know if it isn't. Thanks!!!

 

A couple of my friends use them, and they don't seem to complain about it. One of them has been in Iraq for the last 18 months, and I haven't seen his truck move 1 inch, but has been hooked up. When he got back, it started up good as new.

 

Anyone else?

 

i let mine sit for a couple weeks during winter, regular startups, etc. and turned out i needed a new battery, mine was only holding 1.6 volts.
