Default OMFG 36whp with a strut bar and test pipes!!!

http://media.putfile.com/Dyno-vid-full-bolt-ons-untuned

Okay guys, I'm really just joking although I really do like the Aerosync CF strut bar

Both of these graphs are full bolts-on but changes I've made since the lower dyno...

Ran some Seafoam, Amsoil Engine flush and went with some fresh Amsoil instead of Royal Purple... I switched to Helix V2 test pipes and found out that my old test pipes were messed up because they leaked on my friend's Z (gave them to him to test them out). I THOUGHT I needed some test pipes with brackets but I found out that my mid-pipe was pushing my y-pipe to the passenger side a good bit causing the flange to hit the frame when I hit a hump or made a left turn. As soon as I disconnected the test pipes, the y-pipe looked as if it wanted to stick out from under the passenger side of the Z. After I got everything installed like it was supposed to... no more knocking noise and everything seemed good with no leaks.

The butt dyno said that I gained some power but I don't really believe that anymore. I dyno'd after two Z's with one being a stock 06 which put down 236whp and other other being an 03 with Stillen exhaust that got 240whp.

The guy that ran it on the dyno said he could definitely tell there was a power increase... especially since it actually pulled on the rollers a lot more than it did last time. My AFR also looks better.

Hopefully I'll be getting it tuned with the UTEC in about a month.

And no I do not really think I gained 36whp so please don't jump down my throat like what happened on another forum

No if I could only get rid of one more noise I'll be happy. Also have this "dead" spot that I'm gonna get my friend to check out for me.

I figured your previous dyno was a bad one after you said something about loosing 25 HP. Glad to see you got it all back plus some more.

Thanks guys. It was quite depressing "losing" that much power but I know my car wasn't running in the greatest shape. Will (sumfknguy) and I ran at the track and I BARELY walked away from him. We're gonna run again if he goes to the track next Saturday

I'm hoping to be in the 13s again! I haven't hit 13s since I had just a Pop Charger

The popcharger is a very jealous bolt-on, it's happy being the only bolt-on on the car and makes good power by itself. Once other mods come into play, it gets jealous and starts cutting power. This, of course is a joke.

Shouldn't it be a 5th gear pull though since its the 1:1 gear?

From what I've heard... a 5th gear pull tends to read a little higher than 4th but its always the opposite when we've tried.

I put down 237whp in 5th. The other Z's were a lot lower than that in 5th.

Maybe 5th is only good to use on FI cars

I have no idea how it works man. I've heard the same thing about 5th being closer to 1:1 and should yield the most power but its always been a good bit lower whenever we've tried 5th.

Thats the vid for the other dyno. Notice how the wheels hardly make it up the rollers?
