Default 4 Pinion Limited Slip Differential

Can someone explain to me exactly what a "4 Pinion Limited Slip Differential" is? On the performance, Touring, and Track models, we have the VLSD, but how is that different from the 4 Pinion LSD???

I've heard of Clutch differentials, and open, but what is a Pinion?

Oh, and is it better

i wouldnt call them the Nissan God.... especially when it comes to reprogramming....

i would say they are a conservative group that has good products... but far from being a deity.
