Need Help With Clutch Issue
First I just wanted to say I have searched and it hasnt really hit what I am looking for.
I adjusted my clutches engangement point. At this point it is perfect. However in the mornings when i go to start my car I notice the clutch is a lot further down then it should be. Please note it is really low, however I can still engange and disengage the clutch.
I pull it up with my foot and the clutch is back to being perfect for me. No slipping perfect engangement point.
My question, why is it when the car sits the clutchs goes down further? Do I have air in my system do I need a new Master Cylinder. My brakes are great they dont have air in them.
I need help/advice before calling the Stealership. The car has 100K mile warranty so if its something major it will be covered.
Any clues or suggestions that may help?

drop tranny, replace clutch, send flywheel out for resurfacing (or replace flywheel), get new throw out bearing and pilot bushing, bring new throw out bearing + old throw out bearing to machine shop to press onto sleeve (or buy a new sleeve from dealer), install all of the above, reinstall tranny, fully bleed clutch hydraulic (good time to upgrade to stainless line), put in fresh fluid, and viola
It's really not something a DIY will honestly help on..its very straightforward, but time consuming (about 3 hours if you have never done one before, but can be done in an hour if you've done it several times). Migh want to pick up a factory service manual so you have all the torque specs
The problem is, you can't adjust the engagement point on these cars by more than 1-2mm (ie makes zero difference) - what you're experiencing is the net result of trying to alter how things come from the factory. It's been repeated too many times to count in the thread that talks about the engagement point - some guys (not necessarily referring to you, just guys in general) refuse to listen, or think they know better, and then complain when the car misbehaves (ie pedal sticks...common, clutch slips...common, engagement point changes when the car is cold vs hot...common). The factory sets the engagement point there for a reason, and because its a hydraulic system, you are not really going to succesfully implement a long term change to it.

Well lesson learned. I'm going to adjust it back to were it was. It's not as bad as I am making it seem. But when your a driver like me you notice it.
Example. If I am on 4 gear, and around 40MPH, I put the gas down and the Revs jump slighltly quicker for about 2000 RPM's then I feel the car go.
Can no longer successfully chirp second gear instead it feels like there is a late start. Just a question, my Oil Change info came up on the Navi about 100 Miles ago. I plan on doing that oil change this weekend. Does the car go into safe mode?
