i don't remember any post from you inviting sharif to PINKS... i do remember a post where you were challenging him to a race, but this is different than what i posted here... my challenge was for a vendor or tuner on these boards to go on PINKS and race whomever they were pitted against...

again, i don't remember the word PINKS ever being mentioned... and are you truly serious with the statement above?? do you have any idea what type of business your shop would generate if you were to go stomp the ever loving hell out of a domestic on national TV??? if you lost, then you'd still have your name plastered on national tv... either way, your business would boom... and seriously, do you think you'd lose to a Camaro?? *lol*

Yes, Yes, everyone shut up and lets get back to this one. The title of the thread has just been addressed. Contact Pinks or whatever, lets see you two get it on. I honestly just want to see some QUALITY imports on the show layin down some good #'s and not another gutted mustang with a crate motor.

I have been thinking about doing this for some time.. I can get Z's or G's, at insurance auto auctions that have been totaled out.. Cost about 5K, but there is some body damage, which can be fixed no problem..

New stroker motor, FCon, Nitrous and Tune via GTM
Drag Race setup via Performance Factory, ie rear axle, wheels, tires, roll cage, strip car etc etc..
Any bodywork I can get done here..
Driver IMHO would be Jeremy or AJ..

I think it would be a great idea to get 'some' shops involved that work on the Z or G to represent.. Take on any import on Pinks and if we do end up winning, put the car we beat up on EBAY and split the money between the shops/everyone involved..

I know this does sound like a stretch but it would be pretty damn cool..

Oh yea lets please try and stick to the damn topic at hand without all the BULL$HIT

you know, that's a great idea... a multi-vendor contribution... instead of the great divide between them, they all come together to stomp some beanage! i think this is DEFINITELY in order... i'd contribute to this project in any way i could...

A "My350Z.com" Pinks Car. Everyone that contributes gets to sign it

I don't think one vendor is going to go one whole way when the other goes 10-30mins away. I think a track in the middle would be a great idea. It would bring a lot of respect to the two/more vendors to show up.

Don't the supra guys have a nation wide meet. Were nobody misses?

This thread is silly. This is never gonna happen, and its been discussed in the past and it went no where....after a few civil posts the parties interested cant keep their egos down long enough to try to work something out.

LOL-its the truth. Drag racers are very prideful people and with myself, Julian, Jeremy, even Sharif involved in discussions things get out of hand quickly. Animosity online sucks. I know if we all met in person we'd be cool with each other (the people I do know/have met are awesome people) and discuss things in a more friendly manner. Thats just how these things work. Regardless of what I just said, I expect a "nice" comment from Julian

Berto,

I think you are spot on, but it would be pretty cool to see.. I would donate the car but that just might be as far as I can go at the moment..

We all know the costs involved in building the car for the sole purpose of winning a 10 sec drag race is going to be extremely costly and I personally dont think most of the vendors here would be willing to put up their time/ money for a few minutes of fame, but again, would be really cool...

Maybe down the road someone could coordinate the project because it will take alot of time and effort to properly finish..

One word: Atco.

One of if not the best DA in the country and excellent track prep every time. We had a show here about a year back and one guy backed out right before the race.
