too much oil? Help
the place where i carried my car for an oil change put 6 quarts of oil instead of the recommended 5 quarts. Am i damaging anything? I used Mobil 1

I would recommand to do another oil change to be safe.

Yes, you need to take it back and have them re-change the mother****er and put in the correct amount. Or just take a quart out.
Who changed your oil?

measure the oil level, drain necessary amount, check dipstick again...

Yea just let out some oil, tighten back the bolt, check dipstick...don't think you have to get a whole new oil change (might get a little oily tho
)

Take it back and make them do another full oil change with 5 qts
Driving around with 6 qts is retarded
