Wondering if anyone else has had this problem. I have an oil loving '06 that has already had a complete engine swap - first oil change was fine. Almost time for its second but now, in the last 2 days, it has started having a wierd noise upon cold start from the engine bay. It sounds like an excessive ticking/whining noise and goes away after about 10 min of driving. I am bringing it in Monday but i was just throwing a bone and see if anyone has any ammo should i have to fight with Nissan.

 

Has the new engine been eating oil at all?
