Gonna change the oil this weekend on my 07

Please dont bash, but how many Qrts of oil does the VQ35HR require, what weight and does mobil 1 have a oil filter for this engine yet???

i left the owners manual in my friends car which he drove out of town on, my local parts shops cant tell me anything since their retarded and of course the stealerships are closed.

5 qts i BELIEVE its 5-30 dunno about the filter. I use purolator. you can but a bunch on amazon for a good price.

Well , the onwers munual says 5 qrt, but my mechanic said 5 and 1/2 so i recomend according to the dipstick, if 5 isnt enogh - add!!

Honestly, if its your first time changing the oil in the 07 why not take it in the dealer and have them look everything over. Its still under warantee so if they find something on your new car you can fix it asap. Synthetic FTW btw.
