Why do people always assume that lower CR = more boosted power
I never meant to explicitly say that lowering the compression would equal more boosted power alone. It WILL allow you to attain higher levels of boost safely though.

I also don't think the response is that bad off boost with 8.5:1 pistons. It's obviously not optimal or it would be stock, but its definitely tolerable.

I agree ben, I would definitly run lower boost to keep lag down and throttle response better than go for max power

well that's what low and high boost settings are for. I don't think lag will be too much of a problem with the twins Greddy is using.

I've owned an ITR and an S2000 so I know all about keeping it in the power band anyway.

[FLAME SUIT] forgive me but i cannot recall stock CR anyways... hehe.... in all actuallity upon further reflection 8.5:1 with TWINS (what size are they t3's or T28's...?) you will most likely have partial boost around 2K [/FLAME SUIT]
