Yes but it would increase acceleration significantly.

I've been interested in this too. I think the car could really benefit from a nice set of gears.

Is Z's differential the same as the 300ZXTT or 240SX? If they are I am almost positive that non turbo 300ZXs came with 4.10s and I know 240SXs did.
