Default Another Vibration post

I started getting a small vibration at 3000rpms and higher. Car shifts fine and drives perfect. The other day when I mearged on the interstate I boosted 7lbs/6000rpms though 2nd 3rd and 4th vibration got worse the higher the rpms but after decell it went from a tight vibration to a really loose vibration to were I thought the rear of my car was going to fall out. Droped the rpms down and it stoped. So today I was planing on taking it to a buddy that works at nissan but its all interstate and man thought I was going to get run over because I needed to keep my speed under 70mph to stop the vibration. So looks like a tow truck time.

Anybody have this problem? Cant feel it in the shifter , just feels like the rear of the car. Drive shaft maybe? axle?

I could be way off but maybe your missing some lugs or they are loose. Maybe someone tried to steal your wheels and they loosened some lugs. Probably not but you never know.

Are you getting vibration when you lift your foot of the gas when you're moving as well???

moving its a small tight feeling vibration. If I hit redline and let off its a loose vibration and feels like the rear of my car is going to fall out. I can do normal driving around town and have 0 vibration though

i would check u-joints and the rear, does the car squeak when backing up?noise/vibration on decel can also be wheel bearings, try turning the wheel left or right on decel and see if the vibration changes.

funny thing and easy fix. After I tryed everything I got to thinking, I went 2 years without changing my rear camber arms. A few months again I had dave change them and get my camber back to OEM. Well my tires were bald on the inside and half tread on the outside. SO it was making them feather (sp) in the rear. Had the rear re ballanced and BAM 4oz off on the driver side and oveer 3oz on passanger side. SO no more vibration. Just bald tires now LOL
