Default New clutch...BAD shake...

ok so i just got my new clutch put in, the shop that put it in took it for a drive after he was done...he told me that the car will shake bcz everything hasnt seated yet...its a very bad shake and horrid noise like my whole tranny is going to fall out..it feels like its not letting the clutch slip AT ALL...but i was told by another Z owner that this was norm. until everything seats...i have now put 150 miles on the new clutch...is this ok or what the heck do i need to do...and how long is this supposed to go on for?

Man, i'm having the same problem. It's been about 1k miles since I had my clutch replaced, I dunno wtf is going on. My whole car shakes, and i've even stalled a few times. I never stalled or had the shake with the stock clutch. I'm about to head to the dealer and see wtf is up. Btw, my tranny does the whole noise thing.

I bet they didnt resurface the flywheel when they changed out the clutch. If they just changed out the clutch only then it cause somewhat of a shake or chatter.

Whenever the dealership changed out my tranny, it did have that problem.

I have a spec2+ clutch with a stock flywheel. It was definitely "grabby" for the first 500-1000 miles but then went to more of stock feeling within 2000 miles.

When its hot, it grabs harder (more difficult to slip) and you can definitely feel a difference. Just normal driving and you cannot even tell its a modified clutch and pressure plate.
