You Got to be kidding me
So here it goes. I have a 06 z with 2800 miles on it i drove into my garage and heard this ticking noise. Im like this cant be right so i take it to the dealership and they agree they call me 2 days later and tell me that its a Casting problem with the head from the factory and they will order a new head and fix it. So a week later I call on the day the head was supposed to be there and its on back order for a month consaquintly i go up to the dealership and some how they have bent the hood of my car ive had for 3months.When asked about that they replied well look into it.Finally a month and 6 days later the head comes in.And now..........................I hear that the casting wasnt the problem to begin with the problem is that the head had SO MUCH CARBON build up that it made the valve stick and in return i guess was hitting the cam. This from a employee i know that works there. Feel like im getting the shaft here and was wondering why a car with such low miles would have such build up. IF they put a new HEAD on would this fix it. any help i appreciate thanks

I am sorry that your having problems with your vehicle - though it does sound very fishy - more like they don't really know whats going on with your vehicle -
The 06 models have had oil consumption issues and you may have been do dry that it started showing bottom end noise - was it loud? either way, I would make sure that your getting a new engine before you just accept it coming back with new heads, cause Nissan doesn't just replace heads...
