Yup, brillo pad (the steel wool stuff). Stuff the first nonfouler as well as you can (obviously you can't stuff the 2nd one since the sensor is in it).

noob question:
how do u stuff the brillo pad in there hard enough to know that its not gonna fall out? or do u not know that and it just might fall out, then u gotta get under ur car again and stuff it with brillo pad again?
/noob question
also, did u try using the o2 sim with ur new o2?

Vitviper so you replaced both rear 02 sensors or just one of them?? Still gotta swap mine out and see if i get the other code.
Just the one. Then I double checked the front O2 harneses by unplugging them and plugging them in tight, making sure none of the wires got pinched, etc.
theres no official fix. My light came on for the 3rd time but this time it lasted a good 3-4k miles. I just reset the ecu and ill just wait another 3k miles for the next light to come on.
Official fix = stock cats or high flow cats

Hate to add insult to injury, but I have the FI HFCs and I get a CEL for the o2 every now and then. I thought it was because I had a pre CAT exhaust leak, but I fixed the leak and its still throwing a code. So the answer might be Stock Cats only!!!
