Stock '06 5M's are geared for 190mph
Forgive me but I'm really bored right now.
Disclaimer: I chad68 have no desire to make my Z go 190MPH. Kids don't try this at home.
In theory 190 mph would be the top speed if you "could" hit redline in 6th. (according the factory speedo anyway)
Don't believe me? Drive at 3,500 RPM in first gear check your MPH, then go to redline and look again at the speedo. Now do that for 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th gears (if you dare). I have done 3,500 and 7,000 RPM in the first 5 gears and it is exactly accurate.
So how much more HP would the Z need to be able to hit the 7,000 RPM redline in 6th gear?

When b=0, c2=0, co=0, c1=rho*A, a=kA

Most cars, including teh Z are "torque" or "drag" limited.
As speed increases, the wind resistance (drag) will exceed the amount of torque available to overcome it.

I know stock it could never hit 190 at least on Earth but I know there is some kind of formula you could use to roughly figure out how much HP it would take.
