Default Engine Oil Change

I just bought a new 350Z. Has about 1300 miles on it. Someone suggested changing the oil at 1000 miles or should I just wait for the 3000 mile mark. Any inputs would be welcome. I also had tire pressure sensor go on. All cold pressures were under the the 35lb cold pressure mark. Does any body know what the tire sensor is set at before it goes on

Many change it early to account for the break in process. I've not seen any hard evidence that it helps. That said, it doesn't hurt.

1. I changed mine at 3k miles and went for synthetic oil.
2. TPMS light comes on when lower than 28 psi.
