Hey guys i just got a new transmition installed today. I was driving and then I hit a bump pretty hard. Right when my front tires cleared the bump, my transmition Vibrated a lot, it felt like it was going to fall out. I even felt it hard from the gear box! Question is, do you guys think the technicians messed up and that the tranny is loose? OR Does the 350z tranny sit low ( Close to the ground) ? Maybe I bottomed out but my car has stock suspension. I mean those bumps were huge!

 

Take it back and dont tell them about the bump.

impossible. The tranny won't hit anything. It's tucked up under the car verry good. You would of crushed your front bumper, sideskirts tranny brace..etc before you even touch the tranny.

 

for some reason my tranny wasnt covered or anything. Maybe i went up the bump slowly and went down hard. when i checked my trans today i saw 2 scratches. I will get it checked next week since theyre installing a new fuel system on my car.
