I have heard that for every 100 pounds of weight you drop is like adding 10 hp. I don't know how true this is. It sort of seems it would depend on your total hp to begin with. Maybe it was just for the type of car i use to have.

Im gonna look into removing the impact beams, portions within the crumple zones, etc... Of course this is my daily driver so I wanna be careful and make everything look flush without looking like a true racer car (ie.. **** missing). I don't wanna go FI until my warranty runs out, so next best thing is to improve the hp/weight ratio.

This is old news, but If your car does not have the factory aero package, there is a weight bolted to the underside of the hatch under the trim to aid in closing the hatch without the added weight of the spoiler. Guess they decided this was easier than having different lifters. It is easy to remove and will save a few pounds, but make the hatch a little more difficult to close.
