Is there a sound difference because I currently like the way my car sounds and I really don't want to screw it up. If there is a sound difference what is it? I know that the Z's engine is a hard engine to squeeze extra HP out of and I've seen hundreds of dyno charts that prove or disprove gains but all I see are red, green, blue and yellow lines LOL. What do those lines mean when I plant my **** in the seat and put my foot on the gas... does the 5/16 spacers give gains worthy of installing?

dude this cant be more false a hard engine to squeeze more ponys out of dude r u crazy try trowing parts at a integra i did that for 2 years it was a type r and it was the hardest thing to improve and yes its worthy of installing

The red line is stock, and the yellow line is the MD 5/16th spacer. It shows a 12 hp difference. The MD 5/16th spacer is arguably the most reliable and consistent mod to give gains for the Z. Now make up your own mine, is 12hp to the wheels worth 265 bucks to you?

As others have stated I went with the 5/16 spacer to keep the OEM strut bar. And the 1/2 spacer compared to the 5/16 is not much of a difference in horsepower.

I think he means compared cars in our class like a turbo car (wrx, evo, etc...)

Turbo cars ALWAYS react better to mods. My wrx with a TBE, MBC, and tune went from 180whp stock to 250whp, cost me about $1500.

Also is forgedperformance a good place to buy the 5/16th'' mod?

Im going with the 5/16, does anyone have a dyno for a stock 2003 Touring 6 speed, with the spacer? The dyno I put up was SAE HP not WHP, I want to know what gains I can expect at the wheels.

Thanks for all the info.
