Last night
I read the dyno last night and about 10 minutes later the board was down for an extended period of time. Either they had to back up from a previous date or there is something really fishy going on.

Uh, he didn't lose HP on the Borla.
When he said "less", he meant less than the numbers he posted, which were the best run.
So the first run was something like 7hp less, second run 1hp less, and so on. But I guarantee you they were never less than stock, just less than his "best".

Keep in mind guys that he does not have dyno results pre-Borla (if I remember correctly) so his Dyno results might not get you what you are looking for (i.e. net gains for his car).

I sort of wish I never subscribed to this thread. I get email after email popping up in my box for nothing. Maybe someone will delete this post because its (for better lack of words) worthless.

BorlaBorla virus
I believe this forum was struck last night by the dreaded BorlaBorla virus, that attacks and removes any information that could be deemed as discouraging to their exhaust system.

Borla Dyno
I did not get a chance to see borla dyno sheets on this thread what were the results? Sounds confusing, I sure hope they produce near the 20 HP promised and dyno by borla or their will be many unhappy customers wanting some answers.

Further more there are 3 dynos floating around here 2 show 10+whp gains and one shows only a 6whp gain, but the guy put 19's on his car so that account for about 5 whp in itself.
You people need to lay off this guy. He was just trying to give some feedback on his new exhaust. Take it for what it's worth, almost every owner is extremely happy with the sound and they all report some gains on the butt dyno. I would say this exhaust will make around 10+whp and that isn't bad for just an exhaust.

As far as I'm concerned:
1. I am totally happy with the exhaust! (sound & feel)
2. It ain't no mystery that I did NOT do a baseline prior to install, so I could have actually been dynoing stock @ 220ish or some shiz like we have seen many times. Or possibly in the 230's. With the BORLA my last pull was 243! And since I know for a "feel fact" my car is indeed pulling harder damn near in every gear, that's good enough for me.
3. Weight from wheels is DEFINITELY a factor! Since I've swapped into my chrome MODA's, the car isn't pulling as hard as with the Antera's which are lighter, and thus if I switched back to my stock 18's, it would probably pull even harder! Which I will soon see when I re-dyno with the stockers on....soon.....When I feel like it!
4. The way I see it, all of us who have spent the $$$ on the exhaust and dyno, and have been GRACIOUS enough to post up our thoughts, pics, dyno's, etc. should be thanked for doing ALL the "leg work" for any of you potential buyers, instead of all this flaming, whining, and why-this-why-that BS!
If you ain't happy with the posted results, there's TONS of other exhaust out there waiting for your bread! I'll admit, at first I was a little confused myself with my results, until I remembered I didn't know what I was pulling stock. So now since it feels faster, sounds and looks better...I'm PLEASED! That's ALL that matters folks!
Now then, here is my DYNO Sheet for those of you that may have missed it for what it's worth.
Conditions: 90+ degrees add my 19's and there you have a potential 5hp - 15hp loss with extra weight and high temp! Theorectically, I may have gained damn near 20hp...
But guess what........"It's All Good!"

You are absolutely correct, I would like to thank you for getting the DYno Dunn and posting your results.
And we have to remember these gains are at the rear wheels not the crank.

Great post Marcus.
If you remember back from the Z Club of Texas dyno day, we had folks dyno all kinds of baseline HP and TQ numbers. If I remember correctly they ranged from 220-246 and that was during cooler days. So you could have easily seen a decent increase with this exhaust.
The bottom line is if you are satisfied with it, then its all good.

I just want you to know, Marcus, that after FINALLY hearing your car Saturday, I'm ordering my Borla true dual AND the headers when I get the cash in my hands from my other car's sale. Just TOO sweet to pass up!
