Now this would be my advice to potential buyers:

If you buy it directly from BORLA, your delivery should be quicker! IMO that's well worth the extra cheddar.

Sure lots of shops will eventually carry em'..........But when?
I hate to say it, but you guys know or have heard about shops blowing smoke up your ...! So I just didn't want to go thru that, "Oh yeah, we'll have it in a week and ship it out immeadiately to ya!"
And then days turn into weeks.........

By the way, mine IS a PRODUCTION MODEL.

As far as the *stock muffler diffuser* accomodating the BORLA or vice-versa.....

I wasn't too concerned about that. So I'm not too sure.

I just think... if you are having difficulties winning 20hp by the exhaust, it would be awful to loose 5hp (or some) to drag created by the absence of saaid diffuser.

Maybe wadd could build us a lightweight aluminum diffuser that fits on the borla muffler?

 

i-m-racing has it for 599+shipping. But i went with the injen from avalonracing.

 

ugly or not, i would be willing to bet the injen exhaust makes more whp than the borla. That restrictive muffler on the borla is gonna cut down on power as compared to the injen's "fart pipes". Besides, after listening to the injen it is not "fart pipe" sounding at all.

Believe me when I say that "BORLA knows their sh**!" Nobody, I mean nobody can say otherwise! Exhaust is there BUSINESS.......PERIOD! Not intakes, not engine management, not forced-induction, etc.

AND...........I will go out on a limb and predict that once I dyno, they will have produced the BEST numbers yet. Just because there's not 2 seperate pipes coming out the back does not mean "diddly"! It's what's inside, how the air is moving around and building up and eventually being released that makes ALL the difference.
BORLA did not go through 10+ systems until they got it right just for kicks.

If the Borla made 20HP TXstyle were sure as h@ll know it from the butt dyno. Thats not a marginal gain, you'll feel that and there will be NO question.
