I was driving hard racing my bf one day, and downshifted to 4th then went to upshift and couldnt get into 5th. So I put it back into neutral to shift again into 5th and it wouldnt go. then I shifted to 6th and it went in fine.


Yesterday my bf was driving my car, and the same thing happened to him.

What the heck is going on? Any help would be great.

It only happens when getting on it a little.

 

Any weird grinding noises? Or just refusal to get in gear?
