Exclamation Motor swap time!

Hi guys i have a suggestion on the Vq Motor i should get i got 50k miles on the original motor that came factory stock and im currently going to purchase a twin turbo by spring. Now my Question is should i get The 04 Vq or should i just order an 06 or 07 Vq and just wait for mods to come out, im kinda stuck in my decision atm lol so any opinons or suggestions would be great! Thank u

Stick with an 03-05 motor, otherwise you're looking at ECU work as well. or just build the damn motor

To be honest wana start with a Fresh Motor plus she needs some body work

... There are no standalone options for the 07 motor. You have UTEC, HKS Fcon, Magnetti Marelli, and Haltech for options on the 03-05(06?) motors.

And yes they're expensive but for the money you spend on the 07 motor and the modifications you could have a race ready standalone setup with plenty of potential on the VQ35 motor. Maybe even a fresh new FORGED motor. Don't turbocharge the higher compression motor either if you happen to go stock block.

What is so difficult about making a rational decision here ? It would be stupid to spend the extra money on an 07 motor and "wait" for new options.
