Default Nissan Clutch Most Sensitive

I test drove a variety of cars and it seems that the Nissan is the most sensitive. I bought a 07 350z black.

Are these the most sensitive and sometimes unforgiving. Is the G35 the same way? I am a stick noob and would like some helpful info about the clutch and this car.

It is a great car and that's why I bought it.

The friction point is higher than most but otherwise a clutch is a clutch, imo.

Some 350z owners report that their clutch feels mushy, others say it feels firm.

There is no real difference between 350z and g35 in this respect

Get a d-Wolf clutch kit, it'll make it feel like it should.

Now is the question, what should a clutch feel like. The Z is my first stick, and I didn't know it didn't feel like a clutch.

Accept the engage point is too high, at least for me.

My clutch feels kinda stiff. I'm used to a lower engage point. In my Celica I had the TRD Sport Clutch and it engaged almost right off the floor. Made for very quick shifts, but made stalling easier

the clutch design on the 2007's is different, a much more "mushy" feel than 03-06's.

06-07's have gotten mushier clutches, older models have really stiff clutches, seems like all models have a very high engagement point.

With the d-wolf kit the engagement point will feel as if it was just off the floor, easier and faster shifts.

I've driven quite a few different cars with different clutches. My '90 Mustang GT had a nice 'feel' to it, cable clutch with an engagement point in the middle of the clutch travel. I've noticed that newer cars tend to have less 'feel' and seem more like an arcade game.
