hey guys, so i read up on the oil consumption problem that everyone has been having. i have the 2006 base 350 with a rev-up, and it has 74XX miles on it. i got my first oil change at around 3000 miles, and i was wondering if i need a oil change since Zs are supposed to consume oil like no other. so i take a look at my dipstick, and i do it properly, and the front shows that the mark is close to Low, but the back is slight above the High mark.. i did this a few times, so i was wondering what that means. im so lost about the oil consumption problem. if anyone could just help out a noob that lives around walnut or can just have a quick chat on the phone, that would be nice.

 

The dipstick is horrible on the 350z. I made the thread in the sticky section above, did you get to read through that? Anyways, its hard to get a good reading sometimes, however, it sounds as if your oil is low. The one above the high mark is usually always there.
