SGP has an OS Giken clutch set, but it's out about 4 weeks.

I had originally ordered the UR flywheel, but they kept pushing it back. I had canceled that order and gone with a JUN flywheel, which is better and cheaper than a UR flywheel.

Do share your findings with the JUN flywheel.

Per one of the other users, he was never able to get it properly installed... and in turn JUN offered to have it shipped back. Saying potentially it won't work in US spec cars. (Who knows why).

I will. Apparently the guy over at SGPracing has said that the flywheel was installed improperly. Here's hoping that is the proper prognosis.

I may go with the JUN and just wait for the clutch to burn out. Do you guys know where a JUN is available now??? My tranny is being replaced a week from tomorrow. I keep pushing the date back with hopes of finding some upgrade parts since the install is going to be minimal.

Well, SGP said I had got their last order on their initial shipment, but e-mail them when they will be getting another one in. Sounds like you might have to wait awhile.

Also, Cusco is making a clutch for the Z, don't know when it will be released, but I will be getting that in the future.

I ordered my JUN flywheel from Signal Auto here in Southern Cali. They couldn't find it here in the US so they had to special order it straight from Japan. It's a 3-4 weeks back order. But I think it's well worth it.

About the clutch...have you guys ever heard of RPS clutches? Well they are making the clutch for the 350z as of right now. As soon as I get my flywheel I'm gonna have both of them in my baby ASAP.

The cost for the flywheel was $350 & $430 + S/H. there are two kinds. The only difference is the weight.

I know who you are talking about, but yes he did get it installed with some very very minor tweaking.

After searching every avenue, I was only able to find the JUN flywheel from SGP racing.

I called RPS, they said they are working on a flywheel at the moment and that it is a unique flywheel because it has timing marks on the flywheel that the ECU reads so they have to be very careful to make sure everything is correct during design.

I don't know how accurate the above info is but I would assume that if its true, that JUN also knew about this timing/ECU issue when designing the flywheel.

I guess we will find out in a couple weeks, I ordered the JUN and should have it installed around the 20th.

A company that I know of, not mentioning any names yet, is designing a flywheel that should be released in about 2 months. They already have their own Z but I should get the first one publicly. If it's any good, resulting in good dyno, I will let you all know.

Well, there are two weights for the JUN flywheel, right? Is the other one lighter and more racier?

JUN only produced the Lightweight flywheel for the 350Z which is 14 Lbs. It is much better then the Stillen or UR flywheels because it is a one piece Chromoly instead of two piece aluminum like the Stillen and UR. The two piece aluminum flywheels warp and the steel inserts have to be replaced every time a new clutch is installed. The JUN one piece chromoly flywheel can be resurfaced.
