I saw this on online performance parts store. It is a dyno for Injen intake + Injen exhaust.

Torque and HP must cross at 5252. Somethin' ain't right with their "baseline".

Nothing wrong, the scales are different on both sides of the chart. One for Torque, one for HP.

Looks fine to me. I'm still waiting for a member of this site to dyno his Injen to see if the exhaust makes the gains that Injen claims.

Doesn't matter. The 2 blue lines for the baseline dyno are correct, but according to the after dyno, they got 240 lbft of torque at 5250 but only 235 hp at the same rpm, impossible. With different scales, they should still intersect at 5250 rpm, since hp is a mathematical calculation. hp and torque are always equal at 5250.

HP = Torque * RPM / 5252

So, both the blue lines and red lines must cross at 5252. So along the bottom, on that scale, at 5.252 (x1000)

That is, the "X" for both graph lines should be vertically one above the other. Instead, it looks like one crosses at 4900+, and the other at the correct value.

My suspicion is that the blue line was artificially lowered, straight down, to make the graph look better. Regardless of the reason, that first graph is not possible.

The second one that failsaf3 posted is much more reality-compliant.

Actually the torque and HP lines ONLY cross on dynojet dynos which correct both HP and torque. SAE mandates you correct only HP which means that on my Dynapack dyno we rarely see the lines cross at 5250. Only if by coincidence. To correct both creates some inacuracy. We use SAE rules, unlike Dynojet.

I'd say it's accurate, though strangely i'm getting close to that HP with stock exhaust.

Ask and you shall receive- I've got the dyno at ATP scheduled at 2pm PST. I'll post results as soon as I'm able.
