Default To those with oil burning Rev-Ups...

Those who are currently plagued by the oil consumption in these retarded VQ's, have you guys felt a decrease in overall power? It seems as the days go by, my car gets slower and slower. Im going in to the stealership first week next year, as I will be due for an oil change and ill let those bastards begin their testing. Ive heard these new motors are a bit on the powerful side and are also much smoother. My VQ feels rough as ****.

as long as you have an 05 35m/t or 06 m/t...you're getting the same motor...not the ones on the 07s VQHR

The recall is only for Nissan Z's, I drive an 06 6MT G35 coupe. You think Infiniti will accept this TSB ?

I think he is talking about how some people claim the V2 (replacement) sounds difference and feels more powerful and smoother. I think its all in their heads. My car is still burning oil and feels exactly the same as day one. Engine number 3.

Some V2 owners have said the engine felt "Smoother". However to my knowledge there has not been any claim to more power from the replacement engine.

Your engine should not have any noticeable decrease in power as it continues to eat oil. The cylinder compression will be off and you'll suffer more friction if you get too low on oil, but this will not be any different from the day that you bought the car, since it's been screwed up since break-in when the rings didn't seat properly.
