engine buzzzzz on then off and back again
Like it says,
I did search for this noise and i dont care who flames on me. I swear i have more questions about this new car than my used rx7. Ok, to get to the point on the passenger side, therer is a noise that goes on then off then on then off and there is no set time is buzzes for. it like a hi pitched noies that is like bzzzz then off then bzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz then stops then bzz. I tryed listening to figure where it came from and the closest i got was near the spark plugs area towards the front of the engine on the passanger side. If anyone else has this sound let me know, if no one can figure out this sound i will try to get a clip. It only does it on the passenger side from what i can see. Thanks for all the help

PCV valve.
Take a set of needle noise plyers. Remove the engine cover if its on. Locate the black hose going from the top front of the passenger side valvecover to the front of the intake manifold. Its about 1/2" outside diameter. It should be about 6" long with a 90 degree bend on the valvecover side. While the engine is running/buzzing, use the plyers to pinch shut that vacuum hose in the middle, notice how the noise stops.
Its totally normal, nothing is wrong.
