Default Double clutch question

So I broke 600 miles on the Z.... I pushed it a bit hard last nite. I was kinda burning out being a bit dumb. So flame for burning out. But I wanted to get a feel for that in the Z. I was at about 6k rpm and tried shifting to 2nd. Why did it feel like it locked up and I had to double clutch to get into 2nd?? Is this normal??

Your new to the Z, your timing is off. Practice your shift coordination, double clutching is for old cars or trucks with no synchros you have no reason to do that or use that Fast & Furious term online.

Lmao.. I didn't intend to double clutch. I want to GRANNY SHIFT lmao. It just felt like it was locking and sticking as I was trying to shift.. But I guess it's just how I'm doing it a bit since I'm still learning the timing. But for the gearbox to feel like that I still thought was weird.
