Default Weird RPM Jumps

Okay I'm not sure how to explain it but here we go: So I'm driving...cruising..1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th now lets say I don't need to shift further, I'm just cruising, NOW I push the gas maybe 25% in to move a lil, the RPMs jump like 2,000RPMS up and back down and it just drives normal, but the RPMs jump weird...if thats normal tell me, if you need me to explain more, tell me..thanks guys

a video clip might help. First thought was your clutch is slipping, but it could be a few things.

i dont know how much longer it will last, but you get what you pay for. Whatever you do, DO NOT BUY a clutch/flywheel off the dealer. They will bend you over. If it is your daily driver go with JWT. Very close to stock clutch but comes with a lighter flywheel for performance gains.

I just found the JWT clutch&fly wheel for $888.25, good price? Or should I ask around here?

I bought a SPEC clutch, and now my car is completely unmoveable. My step dad thinks something just needs to be tightened? Even if the car is in gear with the clutch disengaged it doesn't shut off or anything...it's weird, think my step dad could be right? You can put the car in first gear and take your foot off the clutch and it won't jump and shut off, it just acts like it's in neutral...

who installed your clutch?
What type of replacement clutch did you purchase?
Did you replace the flywheel as well?

I would take it to your mech, if at all possible and have them fix it asap.

The new clutch hasn't been installed yet, I'm still waiting for it to arive...I just wanted to know if it was weird or not if the car wouldn't shut off while it's on and in first gear without moving, it's like putting it in neutral it just sits there, you can rev up in first and it wont move..

What do you mean it "wouldn't shut off while it's on and in first gear without moving"? If you're saying the ignition key will not turn the car off when in gear, then yes, it's very weird. But that seems to be different from your second statement, "you can rev up in first and it wont move". That last statement makes it sound like the clutch is well worn; if you have any adjustment, now is the time to let it out until you can replace it.

What I mean is, if I put it in first gear, or any gear for that matter, and take my foot off the clutch it won't stall, it rolls back as if it's in Neutral...so that's the clutch right...

Most people here know what a worn clutch feels like, however your description of the problem confused and confounded the hell out of me. Glad it's all fixed.
