Default Question about getting test pipes installed

I was wondering generally how much should it cost to get test pipes installed? And anyone know of a good shop in or near Chicago that can do it?

well, most shops charge 1 hour even though it would take less, so i'm guessing 75-85 dollars.

OK thank you all for the info. I'm debating on test pipes or jdm's. I'm just worried the test pipes might not be loud enough.

What are JDMs?

If your exhaust is stock you will have rasp. And they will be loud enough.

not necessarily. Good resonated test pipes, you will have 98 % no rasp. and that 2% would be at a certain rpm. But isn't noticeable.

+1, I think it depends alot on which type of cat-back you have as well. If you spend a little extra on resonated tps instead of getting the $150 ones, you will be surprised.

well, you aren't suppose to work on the car when you just drove it. It has to have a cool down time.

All you need is a swivel tool, extension, and socket set. Very easy. 10 minutes each side.
