Default rb26dett swap still debating?!?!

Ok heres the thing the warranty on ym car went out the window the horrible day i crashed my Z dealer says they wont touch my car anymore . So me and the old man were looking into maybe doing an rb26dett sawp into the Z. Id greatly appreciate the feedback if there was a thread on this already i apologize i didnt find it. So far im thinking rb26dett motor with a rb25det tranny. What else would i need?? I more or less have a rough idea but maybe some experts out there would like to throw in their opinions.
thanks and much appreciated

thats a lot of work. Why not get an HR motor and get it turbo'd? For the money you put in a RB you can do a custom turbo for an HR.

How much money do you have? it would be alot cheaper/easier just building up a vq and twin turboing it.

Apparently you don't read enough or the people you talk to are complete *******s.

They AREN'T MEANT for large numbers of boost with the the stock internals. Christ, any car with a 10.6:1 CR is not meant for high boost.

Upgrade the internals and sleeve the block and you'll just just as much if not more boost than the RB.

Do some more reading before you say the VQ can't do something because in all reality, it can do anything you want.

Wheres the guy who attempted to do this himself? I forget his user name but he had a silver Z and it was gona have a 4 inch exhaust. He ended up building the rb for big power and even had the engine in place but ended up selling the z and using a different car.
Edit; i think his user name was RB26DETT or something.

I'd stick with a built Vq35 because consider that at only 8pounds you can make 450whp on a vq while it would take more then 20pounds for a rb. So the Vq with a built motor will out power the rb. And will cost less
