Racerom, the instructions are pretty easy and the install is not bad. It comes with very simple instructions, you just need to buy a different belt besides the one you have.

about the downsides to the pullies:

MaxHax had made a HUGE thread when he first got the pullies and someone brought up that there was a rubber ring/insert on the stock crank pulley that absorbed vibrations that could cause the engine to think there was a 'knock' (not sure, someone correct me if I am wrong) problem and then would cause the engine to retard timing to account for the 'knock'. Everyone thought very little of this and went about their business. A few days later MaxHax made another post reporting a problem, upon running the 1/4 mile he raced N/A and then with nitrous. BOTH times he got a trap at 99 mph and found out that the nitrous was causing the 'knock' because the pulley vibrated at that speed or higher so he couldn't push the engine past that.

SO those interested in bettering 1/4 mile times that have nitrous, should stay away from the UR pulley until they replace the absorber.

Here is the post he made

He also found the problem and it was NOT the pulleys, it was the plugs. The zex plugs were shot and he changed them with NGK 3672 plugs which are 1 degree colder. This was a concern of mine as well but he stands behind the pulleys and so do I.

As an FYI:

http://www.ntpog.org/reviews/underdrive/pulley.shtml

http://www.dinanbmw.com/html/danger_...er_pulleys.htm

I ran a crank-based UDP on my bmw, and removed it in favor of underdriven accessory pullies (which leave the harmonic balancer intact). In addition, at least in bmw's, crank-based UDP's have been found to be incompatible with ltw flywheels.

Yeah, i've ran my car up to ungodly speeds with the pulley on. No problems. I love it. As i mentioned before: there are a lot of people out there who have been running crank pulleys for years with no problems. UR has been around a long time and I don't think this is because they make sh*&$y products.

Pic of the pulleys on my G. The seat of my pants dyno says they kick @SS! I have to wait a week for the ECU to reprogram itself and that's when they will be really noticeable. I noticed last night that I redline a lot faster so I have to really pay attention to my shift timing which I was pretty use to and knew when to shift without looking at the tach most of the time. I will dyno next week. I never got a baseline dyno which I regret but I did dyno before the install and I got 249.8 rwhp. We'll see what these do and I will post the results.

I am planning to get the crank pulley, your instruction is pretty detail.. I guess I'll find out when I start removing the pulley

You didn't mention you replace the belt, but do we have to replace the belts? if yes, what is the size?

Thanks.

If you don't have a breaker bar(a regular ratchet with a long handle),you can use a matal pipe and slide it over the short handle to extend it for more leverage if you want to save $$
I have a G35c 5sp/AT,would i be able to get/use these.If so,where to buy?
