UR pulley install instructions with pics!
the other pulleys are pretty much just for show. mabey 1-2hp. thats what they told me when i ordered! 85% of the power gained is from reduction in weight (at the cranck). the other 15% is from underdriveing (at the crank) and the weight reduction of the other two pulleys. though both are still the same diamater. so i figure about 5% of the gains come from the other two pulleys. you just have to decide if the money is worth this small of a gain. i bought the set for a pretty good price. (best ive seen!!) and if nothing else.....AT LEAST THEY LOOK GOOD!! thats the ONLY reasone i get the set! hope this helps.

I thought it would be a bit higher than that. From what I had read somewhere on my350, someone claimed that for every pound lost from the drivetrain you gained a few hp or something. I forget the exact number but I remember thinking it would have balanced out to around 15hp. Obviously I was wrong.
it's only about a 9 hp gain. At least that is what I dyno'd at. It's all a matter of what your looking for. I plan on showing my car so I had a purpose behind going with all three besides wanting additional hp.
According to some nfo, the nismo flywheel (which by itself wasn't really impressive) when put together with the flywheel set, made it way more noticably quicker in throttle response and even some more accel. Seems like more power is definately getting freed as supposedly one-undoable tire roasting through 3rd is now possible. Anyhow my question is how will the pulley set go with a Jun flywheel (which by itself was impressive in accel & freed up power). I hope to have a combo of Jun & UR pulleys in the near future. Either way, sounds like fun!

If it's true, why would this be the case? I don't see how it could change the amount of power that the A/C recieves...
Hey Syf0n,
Because of the design it wraps around the accesory pullies too.
You should be OK with your AC though I was running 1800 watts of stereo and was dipping to 13.9 volts and swapped to an Optima Gel Cell but AC shouldn't be an issue. I still stand by the fact that it is a good motor mod and that ZEX plugs suck.
I was totally honest in my findings and was wrong in the pullies being a problem and recanted.
Everything in life happens for a reason though, as life goes.
With a Super Charger you have to use the stock pulley
I had already sold mine hehe life is wierd.
P.S Sorry publicly for the jab I took at you a week or so ago I was going through some hard times and thanks for the comliments on my grounding kit. I read it in the DBlue Forum but couldn't access the forum for a couple days. Now that we both are here in this thread I am trying to cover all bases because the website has been slow for me but so has all pages so it could just be my PC.
P.S. to thread originator, you said put the car in 6th gear. I couldn't find that on my car lol, you should have been here for our initial all day dilimna it was fun. Not such an easy install on an Auto. I like all 3 bettter than just the one apearance wise, looks good! Couldn't of used it with my ATI SC though I hope others know that? The SC Piggy backs your stock crank pulley!

I have to agree with MaxHax! It's been around 91-95 here the past few days in Maryland and my a/c has NOT been an issue with the car. So don't let that stop you! Congrats Max on your s/c install. I'm jealous!
Thanks for all of your previous advice as well.
Like most of the people on this thread. I've gone through pages and pages about the pros and cons of this pulley. i've had the UR pulleys on my previous car and i loved the gain in rpm. It is a noticable difference. Once i got my G it was among the first mods i wanted to do. Locally there is a dealer that us very mod friendly. I contacted Oakville Nisssan and they mentioned to me that they no longer so pulley installs because they have had several cars that have come back with engine problems. Now i didnt get into detail with them on what the problems were but obviously they did not want to have to fix any more because of the fact that the dealer themselves installed the part. This is one of the main reasons i haveny installed the pulley and why i might never install it.
pulley is awesome
especially with aftermarket exhaust system that tend to rob you of some torque at lower rpms... pulley makes up for it in awesome way.
The UR pulley goes in the top 5 spots of mods if you are NA...
