Default JWT S7 Cams

does anyone have any experience or numbers to go along with these cams? I am removing my motor from my 06 Z to replace a piston and figured i would do headers and a clutch/flywheel combo while i have it out. I was thinking of doing these cams as well but not sure if it would be worth it with a stock bottom end and no head work.

You'll need a retune for sure.

heads, cams, & Utec will have you in the mid 280's with a good tune & good headers, if you have all the other boltons too. errr should. 262 degree duration, so it'll keep your idle about like stock but 11.43 mm lift is about as high as you can go on stock pistons (just learned that recently). sounds like a pretty good setup to me. You could do the JWT C8R cams...272 duration..but they have too much lift to work with stock pistons lol, besides that those are a bit much for the street. but yeah: DO IT! and DYNO IT! and POST it! seriously though, ask Adam or Jeremy about it, both of em have done N/A builds.

So what else would be needed to get the JWT S7 up and running on a rev-up besides a tune? (could you still use stock springs, pistons, rods, etc.?)

edit: nevermind it seems as though: "JWT VALVE SPRINGS ARE NEEDED ONLY IF REV LIMIT IS RAISED BEYOND STOCK"

with that aggressive lift I'd still go ahead and do the spring/shim kit.

i know its hard to say numbers but whats a guesstimate on RWHP with these s7 cams with the springs and retainers with a tune. Stock internals otherwise besides arp rod bolts.
