My Borla is ON!
Yes, another senseless borla post.......but I dont care. The package arrived today (2days) before expected and I had time to put it on with a friend of mine.
Quality: B- since it was very dull. Tips are gorgeous though.
Sound: A- sound is exactly what I wanted. Deep tone, throaty but the only MINOR complaint is that it is a scoatch too quite at idle.
Power: A+ You can feel it 100%. I was very skeptical of this system after seeing the dynos randomly vanish. But, my butt, along with my buddies (who has a stock Z) can tell its better!!
Overall, I am very happy with it. Sorry NO baseline dyno since Im not much of a dyno guy. I will take pics tomorrow when/if the sun comes out.

I agree, the borla rocks! It's louder than the factory, but not so loud that it gets annoying.
Hey Wadd, Speaking of loud, I built my spare tire well box. It worked great, it was a little tight, but overall, not to bad. It sounds pretty good. I just have to do some finishing work on it. I'm thinkin about ordering your metal Z logo Din plate, I was wondering if there was anyway to get it with the Z on top and the radio on the bottom.

I've had my Borla system on for a little while now. Been to the track and my car is slower, nearly half a second. I think you and your friends may think your car's faster because its much louder than stock. Don't be fooled. If you get a chance to run the 1/4 post your results.

Considering you live in FL and it has been freaking HOT here the past couple weeks. That may account for the slower times. Also were the 60ft times the same? With more power comes more traction loss.

Guys, remember there are two Borla systems out there, so im guessing the slower times made by the guy whos had it on "for a while" came from the first Borla system, which has been out for a little while now. The dual one was just released. Not putting words in your mouth, but Im just guessing.
Or...the ECU got frisky and whent into fail safe mode...?....

Those slower 1/4 mile times were during the same track & weather conditions. Made many runs to try different things. The best times were with a lot of wheel spin in 1st gear. The worst time was with traction control on (but never engaged because I have 275/40/18 S03's), and it posted the best 60 times on that run. All the runs from best to worse were between 14.53 & 14.64, and all previous track days I've always run between 13.89 to 14.03. And I don't have the old single pipe kit, I have the newer dual kit Part 140045. Any ways I have reset my computer since everyone is telling me its a computer issue, and have put a lot of miles on my car. I'll be running again this Friday and we'll see. But I think my car's bottom end is worse than with stock. Could be why the car's slower even though there's a slight increase in HP.
