Default Auto owners - 5AT "paddle" shift update

I have decided to try to use the cruise control "accel/decel" two position switch on the steering wheel as the +/- shift buttons....

I need to get back into the wheel and see how the wiring works for that switch... It's much easier and more comfortable to use that instead of the two buttons on the back side of the spokes...

The only drawback is you can't use the tiptronic mode while cruise control is on (or else you'll shift when you try to accelerate or decelrate) No big deal since you wouldn't be in tiptronic mode anyway if you were using cruise control....

It sure is slick shifting the auto from the steering wheel!
