Default Fed Ex Delivery *Borla*

Came home to two huge boxes yesterday! The system came from LaBree Motorsports in CA. Here's a couple of pictures of the parts laid out. I will post more pictures this evening after it's installed.

You are either a brave man or single!!! I don't know of many married men who can get away with laying out car parts (brand new or not) on their carpet!!! Anyways, looks good and keep us posted.

Thumbs up

That is exactly how I laid my Borla muffler in the back of my car before heading to the muffler shop. Kind of spookee huh. I guaranty that you'll like it. I don't care what the dyno say but I feel the difference with mine.

That's funny cause I need to go pick up my Injen exhaust at a local shop and I'm taking my car. I asked a friend to help me by bringing his car, but I may be able to fit it after seeing your pic. The Injen has much longer pipes though, so I don't know. Who cares! as long as I get it today.

Congrats on your Borla.

after the install did you all just get rid of the stock exhaust, or just put it in the back like the borla?

Install complete!! The installation took about 1 1/2 hours. The part that took the longest was putting the muffler in and adjusting the pipes so nothing rubbed. Overall everything lined up perfectly. Borla did short me 1 clamp which I'll have to get sent to me. In the meantime the shop that installed it had one that worked just fine.

I didn't dyno because I thought it was a bit expensive. $75.00 x 2 for a before and after. If they would have done both runs for $75.00 I would have jumped on it. As for more power I definitely feel it. It's most apparent to me in third and fourth gear when you punch it and yes it does push you back in the seat a bit more.

Here's my take on the sound. It's definitely has a much lower pitch and really screams when your on the throttle. Overall I think its quieter when cruising around or going down the highway. I haven't heard what it sounds like from the outside of the car yet.

Driving home from the shop was a bit embarrassing due to the smoke coming out of it when stopped. Hopefully that will burn off soon.

Well that's my initial review. Here are a few pics of the tips. Enjoy

No I wasn't going to put that nasty thing in the car. I'm picking it up next week with a different car.

congrats on the exhaust. the only problem that i have about this exhaust is that the tips are too long for my taste. can i have the tips cut about two inches right where it connects to the pipe?..or perhaps, cutting off about two inches, the pipe that leaves the muffler, just before it connects to the tips? i don't think welding it back together will affect flow..will it? i just prefer the stock length of the tips over these, or the stillen's.

you can have it adjusted a little so it doesn't come out too much. when you look at it in person, it will look fine. I was able to have about 1" of play on the muffler/tips. You have to adjust it to line up the tips, which is the last part of the installation.
