hard time getting in gear.
like the title says, when ever my car is rolling, even rolling 1-5 mph, it gets hard for me to put myself into 1st. i would actually have to push hard on it to get it in. when reving to 3k rpm then switching to 2nd, i past neutral then it gets even harder to get myself into 2nd, and again have to use force.
sometimes when going into 2nd, it gets stuck half way and i have to force it in and it causes me to grind. 3rd gear is somewhat ok, not as bad as 1st and 2nd but i would still say its not normal.
i took my car to nissan and they said that it was my clutch and i would have to replace it. (24k miles on 05 base model) and they told me the cost of labor ONLY to replace the clutch would be $730. so i told them F U and left.
now then back to my problem, should i be replacing my clutch? or would changeing the tranny and diff oil help the problem. i would like to change the clutch and do the flywheel at the same time, but trying to find the best way to fix the problem without having to dish out so much money, and trying to find a better/cheaper fix before i end up getting a new clutch.
thanks

my trannys the same way, but youre making it out to be worse than it is. unless you were born with like an abnormal lack of muscle in your right arm? its not that tough. and its only gettin caught in second cause your slippin the clutch out too soon....

350Z's tranny isn't exactly the smoothest one out there. when compared to honda's slick six speed gearbox's (new si, rsx type-s, S2000), it's actually quite notchy. very similar feeling to my old WRX.
if you're finding it to be very difficult, then a fluid change might help.
