Granted the majority of available 10 cylinder engines are relatively large in comparison to the VQ, that doesn't mean every engine with more cylinders than a VQ is physically larger.

diesel? no thanks.

just wouldn't be right in a sports car. whens the last time you saw a sports car with a diesel motor? and i LOVE the sound of the VQ, no way i would trade that for the that "diesel rattle".

You could always just drop a k20 rsx motor in there.... because... they are still... faster. Lol~

they put a V10 in a P.T. cruiser--- look it up. I think that company would be the best candidate to do it first, if ever.

You could buy a rebuilt Cosworth 3.0L V10 for F1 cars. Pricey, but 700+hp and 18k+ rpm is pretty nice. I think about 225 ft-lb torque and idle at 10k so maybe not the best thing for a 3,000 lb car.

Probably not in the 350Z....but I am sure the V10/V12 can fit in the first gen Datsun 240/260/280Z.
