I have the Carbonetic triple.
I have 5 days of road course tracking and 5 1/4mile passes and who knows how many sprints to over 160mph, and this thing get better.

At first the clutch is very direct (on or off) give it about 3K miles and she is like oem like, but till then your going to need to get used to it. Also the of course the the clutch pedal will need a bit more pressure to press down. It might actually be the last clutch you'll ever have to get. Just give the clutch time to break in. Pm me and I can tell you where you can get a sicko deal on this clutch.

If you are talking about the full disc DxD, and not their puck style clutches, the stage 4 disc is feramic on one side and organic on the other. If you want feramic on both sides you need the FE stage 5.

Im talking about their full faced clutch. You can also have them make you a clutch with any stage pp and any disk you want, like getting the stage 4 clutch/pp but mate that to a full feramic (both on fw and pp side) disk

have you driven on it? how is the pedal feel? I cant decide between the stage 5 FE or the stage 4 pp with the full feramic disk. Did you get an aftermarket fw?

Nope, havent driven it yet. Car is still waiting on the engine.

I'm going to be running it with the stock flywheel, btw. I dont want an aluminum flywheel for a couple reasons.

Care to share why? I know it will produce less noise and will be easier to drive but I cant justify spending 600+ for a stock FW when I can get a lighter one for half that

Wear out faster, noisy, and the loss of drivability. I think most people just jump on the LW flywheel bandwagon, when a good majority would probably be able to drive faster from a performance standpoint with a heavier one.

If I was going to get an aftermarket flywheel it would be a chromoly one. Those are pretty spendy from what I've seen.

On a side note why would you need to spend anything on a stock flywheel? Do you not have yours anymore?

I have my stock FW but Southbend recommends either a new FW or to resurface the stock one to help the feramic seat properly. Since you cant resurface the stock FW I was just thinking about picking up a FW thats not too light, like the nismo unit.

OT but does anyone have any experience with the Unorthodox Racing FW?

Oops, owned by my own lack of knowledge. I did some research and learned you cant (at least not easily) resurface the OEM flywheel. I just assumed you could.

I guess I'll have to get an aftermarket one after all.
