Default Throttle body or map sensor?

Last night I took my car out to rent a movie. I let my gf drive, and the car was acting up, so I had her pull over so I could drive it and see what was goin on. The car was idleing a little high, about 1100rpm, and when I rev'd to about 2400-2500 rpm, the car was acting like I was hitting a rev limiter. I turned off the car, turned it back on, it still did it. So I drove careful to the movie store, testing it every once in a while, it just kept bouncing off 2500 rpm. After I parked, we rented a movie, and came back out, the car was running normally again. The motor was running fine, so my first guess is either the throttle body or the map sensor. Maybe they need cleaned...I hope. I have throttle body cleaner at home. My questions are:

What could the problem be?

What are the potential fixes?

How hard is it to get at the throttle body in the Z?

Thanks!!!

**car ran fine this morning on the way to work also.

No CEL

car seem so accel fine until I hit 2500. It was very accurate every time it did it. 2500 bam, rev limiter effect. The car seemed to run fine -2500, aside from the higher idle.

Nothing yet, people really can't tell what is. I think I am going to buy this http://www.auterraweb.com/dyforwi.html, this way I will have live diagnostics running on a laptop.
