Oil pressure gauge readings

Oil pressure gauge readings
Picked up my 2004.5 Touring 6MT tonight... what a freaking blast..
Anyway, fun stuff aside, and after searching the forums and NOT finding what I wanted to hear...
What can cause my oil pressure to slowly drop to the quarter range (to the left near 0) when dropping to neutral, or at idle?
Is this normal?
Engine has 27k miles and has been babied.
It's due for an oil change and levels look ok.

Here is a pic.
I know the rule of thumb: to have at least 10 psi for each thousand rpm - any more is wasted HP due to friction of working the oil pump.... but..
Warmed up (3 hours+ driving highway speeds), at a stop light.

It went to a surcharge because of past claims that went unpaid. IF I KNOWN I would have paid them off. No big deal, 1 year of 55% surcharge then back to base.
I *did* have a 40% discount.

Looks to me like you had all the answers before you even started this thread. Using your own rule of thumb of "10psi per 1000RPM", your idle is under 1K, and I see ~20PSI on the gage. Isn't that more than what you'd expect to have at idle? Let me take a guess: Math isn't your strong suite?
Searched for "oil pressure", got the four threads below which address your issue within the first three pages of results. The 4th post of the 1st thread even has a pic for you. I guess searching isn't your strong suite either.
Your rule of thumb is hosed, but don't start another thread on it. At 3000RPM you should have ~60PSI. If all else fails, see the FSM.
You're welcome.

Every forum has to have a smart ***
Kind of off topic, but seems 80% of your other replies in this Z community is just as smart *** and useless, for example:
Your lack of knowledge runs the gamut from English grammar to the automotive field, but your know-it-all attitude is immense. I suggest you put a disclaimer in your signature to that effect, so none of the OTHER newbies here make a mistake and take you seriously. That is not a flame or personal attack, just a warning to the general Z community. BTW, you should contact Nissan and have them fix their manual - anything else we should know about?
You're welcome for the wake up call.

.... And it all started with you saying "I guess searching isn't your strong suite either.".
A direct attack on my character and you expect me to THANK you for posting 4 search results? I am in good company, don't worry - and you're not in it.
Added to ignore list.
