Default Would You Ugrade MotorMounts on New Mot

Just wondering the benefits of upgrading motormounts on a new motor. Dont hear much talk about them anymore. Also who carries them. Thanks

If its in your gameplan Megan makes them. Its much easier to do while the motor is out. Contact Relentless to get a set.

Don't bother with solid mounts!!! The VQ is a really loud motor, especially with aftermarket cams and valvetrain. I have them with upgraded cams/springs/retainers and it is very loud. My motor sounds kind of dieselish because the valvetrain noise reverberates through the entire frame. It's definitely not worth the very small amount of torque you "might" gain from it.

JT even talked to Jim Wolf himself and he recommended not doing them.
