Should there be a Normally Aspirated Sub Forum?
I have to agree. There are way to many people that need their caliglia pins lubricated. In other words the exhaust and intake forums are so redundant in the posts and topics. In all honesty there are way to many lemmings and not enough innovators to justify it. How many times have I seen a post that just says "subsribing". I asked a million times if the stock rods had dowel or locating pins to eliminate cap shift if I swapped rod bolts and no one answered. I tore down a vq for a total NA build and the stock rods do have pins so the rod caps can't shift, most people reading this have no idea what the f$#@ I am talking about but they will post "subscribing" all day long. While I applaud the people that run this forum for trying to make the site an excellent place for knowledge about the z33, I unfortunately have to disagree with adding a NA subforum. I just crawled out from under my car in the garage and I just get tired of sifting through pages of absolutely useless **** but there are gems of knowledge as well. My hands are bleeding, good night.
Honestly I don't really see the value of a "built NA" sub forum because it serves so few people. No offense to anyone, but how many people actually have plans of going "built" NA? By that I mean stuff beyond intake, reflash, headers exhaust. I think the answer to that question is very few. In contrast, the FI sub-forum is home to literally hundreds of people who have done FI.
I'm not trying to knock going NA, because it has its merits, but I don't think there is a necessity for a dedicated sub-forum. I could see the whole thing easily escalating in to a "which exhaust is best" section, which God knows we don't need.

In my opinion there should be a built NA subforum. It is extremely hard to sift thru half the threads that are pointless for NA builds. For example, it took me several months to get any info on the VTC angles for my cams and when I posted it that info it probably got lost somewhere in Engine & Drivetrain subforum. Now if we had a built NA subforum it would make it alot easier for those interested to find that information. Without it if you didn't know I posted info on suggested VTC angles for my Tomei cams you probably never could never search for it and find it.
