Dr Bonz Borla Experience
Well, time once again for another self aggrandizing thread from The Doctor.
Got the Borla slapped on today.
It sounds unbelievable! Way better than stock. It definitly has some extra uumpf according to my uneducated Butt-Dyno.

As impressed as I am by the sound of the new exhaust (congrats BTW). I'm even more impressed by that mirror that you call a bumper. Only 30 more coats on mine and hopefully it will look half as good.

we had a Charlotte/Raleigh NC meet this weekend, had alot of the different flavors of the exhausts there. Stock, Borla, resonator removed, and my ESO Dual.
Borla sounds good, but just bit louder than stock IMHO, resonator removed = BLAH nasty!, stock sounds well stock, and mine is MUCH louder and deeper and has a great sound, but is much louder and can resonate a bit in the cabin in 4th gear with partial throttle. Anyway, the borla sounds and looks great!

My cell phone beeps and my Valentine One "boots up" and you hear a symphony of beeps when you turn the key.
My TV tuner is installed but I'm waiting for my amplified antenna to come in so now reception yet.

For my Z (with the Borla), there's actually virtually no resonance at cruising speed. The only time I've noticed any is when I'm on the highway and revs are around 1800 - 2100 rpm in 5th or 6th gear. If you start to give it more gas at that point, there is a bit of a drone.
All other cruising ranges (and heavy acceleration), it sounds fantastic!
Oh, and for those who haven't heard Eric's (Eric1h) custom exhaust, it is sweeet! Sounds as good as the Borla, but has a different style of exhaust note... and is definitely louder!

I have a few MPG's of the camera in the car. It is dark now so the one of the car pulling away will have to wait until tomorrow. As soon as I can get a host for these three MPG's, I'll have them up.
