Default clutch "pop" noise when releasing the clutch slowly...

hey guys,

i've been searching around on here for awhile trying to find a thread on this with no luck.

i've noticed that when i release my clutch very slowly to take off in 1st gear, i can hear a "pop" noise inside the car coming from the pedal. i can also feel it in the pedal itself slightly. it happens when the car is not running as well, even when it isn't in gear.

plz try this... put the car in neutral when it is not running. push the clutch pedal all the way to the floor, then very slowly let the clutch pedal out all the way. listen for a pop sound. its very weird and i never noticed it before, but ive been trying to get really good at taking off without revving the car to 1500 rpm...

let me know what you guys think. oh yeah, my car is an 08 touring 6mt with about 4000 miles.

thanks,
rob
