Did you ride the car ? Did you notice anything wrong ? If not - why to start this threat ???

Your friend meant that there are problems with 03 MT - Synchro Issue is very common - I have problems myself - but can be replaced under warranty. You can't say all 03 350z have BAD TRANNY though...

PS. U will be flamed for starting this threat and not using search!! Welcome to my350z forum

The 2003 transmission is one of the best ever made by mankind. 200,000 problem free miles guaranteed.

He meant you'll get flamed for just asking a very common question. This question has been asked millions of times and if you use the search button you can find the answer to it pretty easily. Trust me, you'll hear that a lot if you don't search.

I have an 03 with only 44600 on it and overall it's in very good shape. However, I can tell that the 5th gear synchro in particular is getting worse on it. And I barely drive it and drive it like a baby (most of the time).

58k DD stock clutch/original tranny. Dont believe everything you hear. If you take care of your car and dont ride the **** out of it every chance you get, it will last just like any other car on the road.

Some 03s had tranny issues; majority did not. my 03 has 45,000 miles with zippo problems including tranny.

Go enjoy your ride and ignor your chicken little (The Sky is falling) friend!
