High idle after cold start on 2007 model
I looked through other threads and in most cases the idle after a cold start is around 1200-1500 rpm. The same goes for me, I have a '04 model.
However, a friend of mine has the 2007 model and his idle on a cold day (35ish fahrenheit) is around 2100 for a minute and then comes down.
Is this normal for the new model to have the increased idle rpm?

It does that to warm up the motor. Its for emissions reasons cause a car pollutes less once its warmed up.
